NARS Sheer Glow Foundation - Review

Nars Sheer Glow Foundation enhances, without masking, your overall natural complexion. The weightless formula hydrates the skin while complexion brightening properties improve skin brightness, radiance, and texture, leaving skin with a luminous, sensual glow.

What it is:A glowing, satin-finish foundation with sheer and buildable coverage.
Overall opinion : NARS Sheer Glow Foundation is available in variety of 20 shades .  I have Nars sheer glow foundation in shade Stromboli .The shade  Stromboli which is a Medium 3 is suitable for medium skin tones with olive undertones. The foundation is suitable for normal, normal-to-dry and dry skin types. I love trying new foundations. Mac studio fix fluid is one of my favorite foundation and i believe its one of the best foundations .I like my foundations to be medium to full coverage. So i tried to keep myself from buying  NARS Sheer Glow Foundation but i am glad that i convinced myself and finally bought it like 2 months ago. Its a foundation with light-medium coverage, so its not fully sheer. I have a combination skin, so i prefer dusting some powder to avoid getting oily at certain areas. Sheer Glow Foundation creates a luminous, satin-like texture to the skin.. It has somehow matte and glowy finish at the same time, which I personally like because i have combination skin.
I prefer using my hands when it comes to applying foundation , as well this foundation is also suggested to apply with hands by James Boehmer, Director of Global Artistry , he suggests "always warm up foundation in the hands and apply with the finger — this creates the most natural-looking finish." If you  have dry patches , then it will enhance the them .

Do i recommend : Its quite a pricey for a  foundation and also you have to purchase pump separately but great foundation if your shade matches and you are looking for sheer to medium coverage. This foundation doesnt apply very well on dry skin /patches.
Price : $42
Where to buy : Sephora , Nars ,

Benefit Watt’s Up! Highlighter - Review

Benefit Watt'sup is a soft focus highlighter. Which is claimed to turns on “watt” ya got with a delicate champagne glow that’s gorgeous. With a cream-to-powder’s a switch on “wow” for all complexions. You’ll adore the smooth applicator & luminous sheen.

I have been itching to get my hands on it so badly after reading the excellent review of temptalia long time ago .As soon as i got change i bought it and oh i never regretted that moment . Benefit Watt’s Up! Highlighter (($30 for a 0.33-oz. tube) is a gorgeous luminous champagne shade with cream to powder formula. I am glad that benefit came up with nice packaging , i like my benetint and posetint but i hate the packaging. Benefit Watt’s Up! Highlighter comes with the highlighter on one end and a blending sponge on the other end. But i prefer old fashioned way -  my finger to apply it after i am finished with my makeup. The swatch looks kind of boring but trust me once blended , it gives the most beautiful and flattering subtle glow.

Do i recommend :  Yes ! if you are looking to invest in a highlighter which glides on smooth and stays put for a while ,meanwhile giving you most natural, lit-from-within glow.

Price :  $30.00

Loccitane Ravissant Shower Gel - Review

Loccitane 's refreshing Eaux de Provence collection is inspired by the numerous fountains, wells, springs and rivers that bring life to the south of France.
The Ravissant Shower Gel offers a dazzling bouquet of floral aromas with fruity citrus notes. This light gel, formulated with the essential oils of Mediterranean bergamot and Damascena rose, transforms into a generous foam when applied with water, gently cleansing the skin and leaving it soft and delicately perfumed.
I am a huge fan of rose-y scents. Bvlgari Rose Essentielle Eau de Parfum being one of my all time favorite perfume , i had an idea that i am gonna LOVE the new Loccitane Ravissant Shower Gel from Eaux de Provence collection . My nose picked up the citrus note at the first sniff, which is quite refreshing. But then when you smell roses , its just heavenly. The fragrance is so subtle & light, Its like a summer in a bottle. Its smells soooo very feminine and elegant . Its perfect for summer, The shower gel lathers nicely and rinses well without drying my skin but if you have very dry skin you may not find the formula not too moisturizing  .
Overall i LOVED the smell but again i am partial to roses and anything with lime and i cant wait to get my hands on the Eau Ravissante
Price & Availability : $20 , you can buy Loccitane products online at and  OR find a store near by here
